Brother

Awww yeah! My first realistic portrait EVER! And it's of my brother Dillon. He loves his fedoras The only thing a little off is the left eye (your right) as far as angle goes. But the rest looks almost identical!
I really enjoyed drawing this for my art class. Only downside was the side of my hand became completely black with graphite smudges and it took me nearly ten minutes each time to get the stuff off. XD I think the hardest part of the whole thing was trying to get his face right. He has a long face and trying to get it close to what the picture was (I drew this from a photograph) took me nearly a day and a half. The rest of it was easy-peasy for the most part. From what I saw so far from the drawings other kids had in my class (the ones that actually started when they were supposed to) I have one of the best drawings. But I'm still curious to see what the other kids have drawn over the weekend.
What I learned: Graphite is my worst enemy!

Medium: Mechanical Pencil (and the teacher said using those pencils would be a failure )/ by hand
Time: 24-27 hours in all, but I worked on it all week Monday to Saturday.
