Ouga

HOLY FREAKING CRAP!!!! DX I never thought I'd get this dang thing done! Drawings like this usually wouldn't last me more than a few hours, but THIS!! It took me nearly a whole 15 hours!! D8< I started it at 11 a.m. on Wednesday and I finished it around 2 a.m. Thursday morning! >.<''''' Ouga is a real pain in the @$$ to draw, I swear!

*takes deep breath* ANYWHO!

Ouga: A demon who controls the deadly darkness that is ultimately unstable and uncontrolable within itself. Since his childhood, Ouga was forced to walk in his brother's shadow. His father King Araku, in a way, favored Ura over Ouga. The rules of the demon world say "Whoever has the most power is to be the king". Araku's kin are ultimately unparalleled in their power. Many, including King Araku, already saw and wished Ura to be the next King of demons. Ouga was thought to be far too careless with his powers and over-estimated them, therefore, wasn't even thought of. Out of revenge, Ouga cursed his father into his death bed, forcing the Infinite City (the demon world) into searching for a new King. Now all demons head to the surface world to gain the highest spiritual powers they can find and add it to their own power in hopes of becoming the King. Ouga goes to the surface as well, not only bent on killing his brother, but also to add to his power and become King of demons himself.

You could say Ouga is my favorite bad guy. I don't hate him, but I don't like him either. I guess I kind of understand where he's coming from cuz what he goes through is like a major-scale sized version of what my brothers have to deal with. Only THEY aren't out to kill each other lol.
"Mugen Spiral" has become my favorite comic book series (even though it only lasts for 2 volumes. ;.; ). Normally I wouldn't read stuff that revolves around demons, but I eventually got to the point where I could let this one slide because it's pretty fun for me to read. Plus, I get a lot of ideas on how to draw things from it ^^
