What up, homies?

With Christmas done and gone everything's calming down for the most part. It's nice. *flops into giant bean bag chair* YES I FINALLY HAVE ONE OF THESE :bademoticon: 

So with the temp job I had, I made enough to get my dog Ooka paid off (cuz we had a payment plan with the breeder), and I also co-payed on a cord of wood so we're not freezing our butts off in the house. It's a heck of a lot warmer in hear, good grief. Also helped with the Christmas presents last month and a couple of the bills. So I'd say we're pretty much set for now. Finances are still pretty tight but as long as my step-dad gets his head out of the drain they shouldn't get any worse.

Dunno what all's gonna be goin' on for the next couple months, but in March we're lookin at a few things. A publishing company's gonna be calling me back, we're thinking of breeding Ooka and work with the pups as therapy/service dogs, and maybe a few other things.

For now though, I'm gonna be working on my stories and main novel as well as my drawings. I tell ya, being fandom trash helps with practice for the real deal :bademoticon: I've also been on tumblr quite a bit over the past few months, and I've managed to find some people that are really nice and I like to talk to 'em when I can. There's still a few buggers out there but it's pretty easy for me to ignore their garbage. So I'm fairly enjoying myself ^^

Also, probly not gonna happen, but I'm looking at the possibility of getting a snake. (I bet you know which one by looking at my gallery XD ) Of course, it may or may not happen. Like I've said, finances are still tight and on top of that my step-dad is a total jerk when it comes to snakes. He wasn't raised around 'em or taught they're not always as bad as everyone thinks they are, so he just hates 'em outright. (Though he's gone through a line of work that put him around Two-Step Charlies, so THAT I can kinda understand.)
So....kind of a "yes, no, maybe so" situation. I really hope I can get this snake though, he's really adorable and gorgeous. And heck, ball pythons don't even get all that big, so I wouldn't even have to sell 'im later on. He'd be a pretty decent fit, if you ask me.
